When Amanda + Jeff first reached out about their wedding, I was beyond stoked. Everything they valued aligned completely with what we strive to give as wedding creatives! When we had to opportunity to meet in the city that they met and love and hear all about how they met and what they wanted in life, I couldn’t have been happier that these two found us to document this time in their lives together!

Amanda + Jeff met at a birthday brunch for a mutual friends. She thought to herself that this wouldn’t go anywhere and met him for a 76ers game two weeks later. That two weeks turned into 4 years and they are tying the knot this summer!

We decided to venture out at sunrise to avoid large crowds and it was WELL WORTH the 4 AM wake up call! Amanda, from Iowa, and Jeff, from New Jersey, called NYC their home and took Christian and I around to explore their favorite area in Brooklyn-Dumbo neighborhood for the perfect view of the Manhattan Bridge.

We explored in and around Dumbo and made our way to Brooklyn Bridge park for those iconic NYC engagement session vibes.

I am SO glad we were able to meet them in the city they love and combine that into their final wedding gallery in their home state of Iowa at the Des Moines River Center!
