If you’re searching for winter wedding inspiration in Iowa that blends modern elegance with immersive guest experiences, this Winter Wonderland Celebration Farm Wedding delivered on every level. Designed with intention and heart, the day focused less on tradition and more on creating meaningful moments that allowed the couple and their guests to be fully present.

Celebration Farm Wedding

Located just outside Iowa City and surrounded by quiet farmland, Celebration Farm provided the perfect backdrop for this modern winter wedding. The venue offers three distinct spaces that allow couples to incorporate both indoor and outdoor elements into their day. With capacity for up to 300 guests and pricing that typically ranges from $5,000–$7,000, it’s a versatile option for couples planning a large celebration in Eastern Iowa.

A Wedding Designed with Intention and Thoughtfulness

From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere felt magical. Thirty Christmas trees filled the venue with warmth, glow, and seasonal charm. Every detail felt intentional, from personalized table cards to a honeymoon auction fund that invited guests to play an active role in the couple’s next chapter. Rather than simply attending, guests became part of the story.

This wedding prioritized experience above all. The couple leaned into immersive design elements that encouraged connection, conversation, and shared joy. Instead of rigid timelines or overly structured moments, the celebration created space for people to engage naturally, soak in the environment, and enjoy being together. The result was a wedding that felt inclusive, relaxed, and deeply memorable.

Wedding celebration that goes beyond aesthetics

Catia + Aaron wanted a wedding day that was steeped in presence and connection. They created space and time to enjoy a slow morning getting ready. There was no rush to go through the motions of the day. They paced themselves, soaking in every moment with each other and their friends and family. From a Catholic ceremony that celebrated their faith to a quick stop at The Den at St. Burch Tavern with their friends. They moved through the day with thoughtfulness and intention.

For couples planning a winter wedding in Iowa, this celebration is a reminder that design can go beyond aesthetics. When every detail is created with intention, the day becomes more than just a wedding. It becomes an experience people truly remember.

inspired by family, joy, and you.

That's us on our wedding day. The part we loved the most? The big group hugs, the tears shed, the belly laughs, and getting to share all of it with our friends and family.

We met in daycare and became the boy + the girl next door.

After my family moved from Colorado to Iowa, we met in daycare. A year later, our families just happened to move in across the street from each other in a new town. Call it kismet. After 25 years of knowing each other and 10 years dating, we couldn't wait to celebrate our relationship with our friends and family and got married on our family farm.
