Emily + Mitch knew each other in high school and later on reconnected. The love they have for each other grew immense and fast. I remember before Emily got to see Mitch on their day, she told me she usually turns to Mitch when she is nervous and it felt so weird not having him by her side. When they finally got to see each other, they were both smiling from ear to ear and took a big breath of relief.

Up to the day of weather was looking iffy, but when they day finally arrive there was no rain in sight. Until 20 minutes prior to the ceremony start, when Emily and Mitch decided what they hey, we’re going to get married outside rain or shine. That they did! Groomsmen wiped chairs and guests arrive with umbrellas in hand. Water was pouring in more ways than one with the emotional vows and ceremonious potting dirt from both of their families land.
Afterwards, Emily and Mitch shared an intimate cocktail hour with just their wedding party and immediate families. I highly recommend it! It was the perfect way to give thanks and share in this joyous moment with their closest humans.
The rest of the night was filled with laughter, tears, and the most gratitude I have seen any couple express for this day with their people. It was absolutely a day for the books and one that I am so grateful to have been apart of!
