The Surety Hotel is located in the heart of Des Moines. The 1913 Beaux-Arts gem has been beautifully restored to highlight heritage design elements and architectural touches. From the absolutely stunning Solarium to the luxurious Marchande Suite, The Surety is the perfect place for your family and friends to gather and celebrate the start of your marriage together.

The Surety includes everything you need for your wedding day like linens, tables, menu tastings, and suite accommodations. Trust me you do not want to miss out on the Marchande Suite. The stunning views and natural light, make it the perfect spot for you to get ready with your favorite people.

Generally, ceremonies are held in the Solarium. Naturally lit with original exposed brick and windows overlooking the courtyard, it can also be used for your rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and Sunday brunch.

The Surety has multiple spots in and around the hotel for gorgeous, timeless photos of you and your favorite people. You’ll have full access to the beautifully designed lobby, the art-deco hallways, and Mulberry Street for those urban portraits.

Afterwards you and your guests can head out onto the patio for cocktail hour to soak it all in before making their way into the Surety Ballroom for the reception. The historic bank space has been transformed for modern celebrations. Exposed brick meets Beaux-Arts decorative molding to add texture and ambience for any celebration. The ballroom can hold up to 150 guests.
